Gators Football Tops Early 2012 Ranking

It's not a big leap to imagine the Goose Creek football program finding continued success in 2012, but consider this the first validation that the Gators are expected to stay at the top.

We're just beginning the long summer before players get back on the field, but High School Sports Report is out with a first look at how the field should shape up this fall.

At No. 1: the . Some top talent may have graduated earlier this month, but HSSR points out there's strong talent among returning players, including Caleb Kinlaw, Tramel Terry, Gerald Turner and Jalen Stevens.

Stratford rounded out the top 10 in the HSSR rankings.
