Hanahan High Loses Student, Recent Grad in Fatal Wreck
Teen brothers died Sunday in Cainhoy Road incident.
Teenage brothers killed Sunday on Cainhoy Road were members of the Hanahan High School community.
Matthew Richardson was a 2011 grad and Kelvin Richardson was a junior. They died in a mid-morning wreck, where their 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee ran off the road and struck a tree.
Berkeley County School District is providing counseling and other crisis support to the students and staff at Hanahan High. Counseling and grief supports was expected to continue into Tuesday.

"During this time of indescribable loss and tragedy, our thoughts and prayers are with the young men’s loved ones and the entire Hanahan community," said Superintendent Rodney Thompson in offering his condolences.
