Hanahan is Hiring and More Local Jobs

This is your last chance to apply for several openings in the local municipality.

For today's job board, we thought we'd highlight three very different jobs open in the City of Hanahan, but deadlines are coming soon in each case.

The city is hiring a municipal court clerk. It requires two years clerical experience, with court experience as a plus. You'll be handling court fees, answering phone calls and other clerical duties. Deadline is Sept. 21.

Hanahan Police is also hiring a patrol officer. "Responds to complaint and emergency calls made to the Police Department and patrols assigned sector of the City, enforcing all state and local laws relating to public safety and welfare." Deadline is Sept. 24.

And the city needs a commercial inspector and plan reviewer. The job is pretty self-explanatory. It requires International Code Council Certification, along with SCLLR Licensing with the Building Codes Council.

Finally, we'll add one more that isn't a city position, but still government work in Hanahan. The Berkeley County School District has an opening for a teacher at Hanahan High School. Applicants must be eligible for S.C. certification.
