Harry Potter Midnight Premiere Plotter
What you need to know to get ready for the big premiere Thursday night.

As you’re dusting off that sorting hat for what’s likely to be its last trip to the movie theatre, here’s what you need to know for the Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 2 midnight premiere.
1. Where to go.
In North Charleston, there’s at 2181 Northwoods Boulevard and Regal Charles Towne Square 18 at 2401 Mall Drive. In Summerville, you’ve got the Regal Azalea Square Stadium 16 at 215 Azalea Square Blvd.
2. Tickets are plentiful.
Don’t worry about a sellout just yet. Theatre operators told us that, while they’re ready to open as many screens as necessary for the midnight showing, early ticket sales suggest they won’t be selling out anytime soon. Warning: Summerville’s smaller Cinemark 8 on Ladson Road .
3. Early birds … er, evening birds.
The die-hards will probably be lining up after work on Thursday, but the lines may not really start forming until 7 p.m.
4. Souvenirs? Oh, yes.
It’s going to be a unique 3D experience for some theatergoers. While supplies last, theaters will be offering 3D glasses similar to Harry Potter’s trademark frames. Northwoods Stadium, for example, will have pairs for the first 300 3D watchers.
5. There is always Friday morning.
Midnight a little late? Well, we don’t have to tell you that theatres will be back open Friday morning (between 10:30 and 11:30, depending on the location). Though you may get a few weird looks with that sorting hat on your head.
