Heat Advisory For Today
National Weather Service issues warning to stay cool and hydrated this afternoon and into the evening.
The humidity and high temperatures are combining this week for some dangerous heat.
The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory from noon today until 8 p.m. for areas including Goose Creek and Hanahan.
Temperatures are expected to be near 100 degrees, but the humidity will make it feel like anywhere from 109 degrees to 114 degrees.

It's expected to be the hottest this afternoon and early evening.
The weather service warns of heat-related illnesses and urges people to stay in air-conditioned rooms and drink lots of fluids. You should also be staying out of the sunshine and check on relatives or neighbors, particularly the elderly.
