High School Football: Four Playoff Games
All of our local teams continue their quests for a state championship.
Update:
It's a big week for our schools as all four of our local teams press on in the playoffs.
Goose Creek hosts Northwestern for round two of the AAAA post-season play. The Gators (11-1), welcome Rock Hill's Northwestern High (8-4). On Nov. 25, the winner will take on either North Augusta and South Florence.

Stratford hits the road for its second round of AAAA play, taking on Ashley Ridge. Both teams are 9-3. The Knights have had a strong season, including a 31-24 win against Ashley Ridge. The winner will take on either Easley or Greenwood on Nov. 25.

After a 42-18 win over Lake City last week, Hanahan continues its run toward a AA championship. This week, the Hawks (7-4) host Timberland (11-1). Timberland beat Hanahan, 56-14, in the second game of the season. That was the game that injured star wide receiver Chris Brown, forcing him to sit out for several weeks.
Cane Bay had a surprise 28-14 win last week against Marlboro in the AAA playoffs. This week, the Cobras (9-3) head to A.C. Flora (11-1). Flora is undefeated at home, making for another tough win for Cane Bay. The winner will take on Bluffton or Myrtle Beach on Nov. 25.
