Friday football kicks off early again this week with Cane Bay hosting Berkeley High on Thursday night, for MyTV Charleston's Thursday Night Lights. At 6-3, Cane Bay appears to have an advantage over Berkeley, at 4-5. But both teams are going to want to finish the season strong … and, its televised.

The Goose Creek Gators (8-1) will be hosting Ashley Ridge (7-2) for the final home game of the regular season. Last week, Wando broke through the solid Goose Creek defensive line, scoring a respectable 28 points. Of course, that success was muted by the 72 points scored by the Gators. Ashley Ridge will have to learn from Wando's success and find a way to stop Goose Creek's offense.
Hanahan struggled through the first month of this season, losing four-in-a-row. But they were the right four games to lose. Since then, they've been on a winning streak. Now 5-4 and undefeated in their division, Hanahan heads to Woodland High on Friday night for a make-or-break game to prove the No. 1 team.

Stratford High travels to James Island on Friday night. At 7-2, the Knights are hoping for another win.
