High School Football: Goose Creek At Home

Stratford heads to Fort Dorchester for a good game.

UPDATE:

Goose Creek is back home this week against visiting West Ashley. There are only three home games left! The Wildcats (4-2) are going to have a tough time finding a victory against the 5-1 Gators.

Add up the scores over the last six weeks, and it's Goose Creek 284 against the collected opposition's 73 (including 52 points from the loss against University). The first number suggests an unbelievably strong offense and the second number suggests an unbelievably strong defense. That's not going to be changing anytime soon.

After two weeks without a win, the 4-2 Stratford Knights head to Fort Dorchester this week. Dorchester also has a 4-2 record. It's not a home game, but the short trip may be worth it for some good football between two very competitive teams.

Cane Bay will be on the road this week, heading down to Bluffton. With four wins in a row, the Cobras will be facing tough competition as the 6-0 Bobcats stand in the way of a fifth straight win.

The Hanahan Hawks (2-4) have finally found their footing this season with two wins on the road. They'll be at Charleston County's Academic Magnet this Friday. The Raptors also have a 2-4 record, so someone will be walking away with win No. 3 and the other will have their fifth loss.

"They have offered and he has committed, pending him qualifying," Reedy said Friday night. "If he qualifies and they don't have room, he'll greyshirt."
