
Football practice begins this week. And we’ve got one whopping football update for Goose Creek and Hanahan.
The Post and Courier has the schedule for the annual two-day Sertomoa Classic jamboree at The Citadel. It’s Hanahan vs. Burke, Stratford vs. Porter-Gaud and Goose Creek vs. Berkeley. All three games are on Thursday, Aug. 18. Games begin at 6:30 p.m.

Gilmer also points out a Hanahan big number last season.
It was a close competition to see who would be the highest-scoring 2A team from last season, but Hanahan won the honor by a touchdown — literally.
