High Speed Chase Down Liberty Hall
Reason suspects fled police on Monday still a mystery.

A high-speed chase down Liberty Hall Road on Monday afternoon ended with the passenger cited for disorderly conduct and a warrant for the driver, but no clear picture on why the pair fled from police.
The incident began just before 1 p.m. Monday as an officer was monitoring speeds at the corner of Hollywood Drive and Lindy Creek Drive in Boulder Bluff. He clocked a Jeep going 41 mph in the 30 mph zone and preceded to pull over the vehicle.
While checking the identity of the two men in the car, the officer noted that the driver, 23-year-old Dennis Lee Smalls of 330 Robinsonhill Lane, was starring at him through the driver's side mirror.

When a second officer arrived, Smalls allegedly started the Jeep and attempted to flee. The officer notes that, during the pursuit down Liberty Hall Road, the patrol car reached 80 mph.
Smalls allegedly turned onto Jeffers Lane and into the yard at 353 Jeffers Lane. Smalls and passenger Stacy Lopez Borrow Jr., 20, of 105 Brick Greens Court, jumped out as the Jeep was still moving. The vehicle struck a tree in the yard. It was later searched, but no contraband was found.

The two men fled into the woods behind the house. Barrow was found sweating and out of breath on Pandora Drive. He told police that he did not know why he ran. He was charged with disorderly conduct.
Smalls was not apprehended. He is wanted on charges of speeding and failure to stop for blue lights.
