Holiday Calendar: Concerts, Festivals and Tea with Dickens
Five things to do this weekend to get in the Christmas spirit.
We're getting closer to the big day and there are still lots of chances to celebrate the holidays. Here are five ideas.
- The at the school. Other school events include Westview Primary's student concert Friday morning and Howe Hall AIMS students will perform "The North Pole Musical" at the Cane Bay High auditorium Friday night.
- The at 9 a.m. Saturday morning. Admission is free. Donations will be accepted for Helping Hands of Goose Creek. The event will include backed goods, crafts and a rummage sale.Â
- On Saturday, there's , a free event with a massive snow slide, kiddie train, games, crafts and more. The event is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Asked for a Twitter pitch, @CharlieWSwain with the Church at Cane Bay said: "15 Tons of Real Snow, Massive Snow Slide for tubing, Inflatables, Santa, Starbucks. FREE!"
-  continues this weekend. The park has a holiday light display and a holiday fair with Santa. The park is also hosting a next Wednesday at 10 a.m.
-  at 4 p.m. Sunday. Storyteller Tim Lowry performs "A Christmas Carol" in Dickens style. Includes a torchlit boat ride through the swamp. $35.
