Holiday Calendar: Mepkin Abbey, Old Santee Canal and More

What to do once the turkey is stuffed and your stuffed with turkey? Here are several local holiday events this week.

• begins Nov. 26, for $5 a car with proceeds benefiting local charities. Holiday fair events begin next week, Dec. 3.

• The Mepkin Abbey has opened its of local collectors and artists. It's open to the public, but reservations are required at mepkinabbey.org.
• Santa is already visiting with children at Northwoods Mall from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. until Christmas Eve.
• The Berkeley Chamber of Commerce is running its , with $1,000 cash for the big winner.
