Home Invasions Have Neighborhoods on Alert

Report looks at two incidents in Goose Creek communities.

Live 5 News reported last night on two Goose Creek communities struggling with home invasions in the last week.

The first incident at Hallmark Apartments involved on April 6. The case is still open, with police hoping that security camera footage from a nearby Family Dollar will help identify one of the suspects.

On Monday, an Anita Drive resident reported an unrelated second home invasion, according to Live 5. A man told police he was held at gunpoint while two suspects took money and his cell phone. The incident has neighbors frightened. 

"If someone were to knock on my door I'd be scared to open it up I really would. Just to know that if that happened to somebody else in their house it could happen to us, you know it's really scary," said a neighbor.
