Your Father knows what you need, before you ask Him. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you.

Matthew 7:7,8,11
Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it shall be opened.  If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him!

When you have a big decision to make, you are naturally going to feel anxious, because you don’t want to “mess up.”  You don’t want things to go badly for yourself or someone that you love because of a poor decision on your part.  It is important for you to make the right decision so that you can stop worrying and be at peace.  It is only when you aren’t anxious and your bucket is full that you can reach outside of yourself and try something new, move on with your life and most importantly have anything to left “give” to another person. So, how exactly do you find out what direction you should take in order to get God’s will in your life, which is always your best deal?  First, specifically ask God to guide you even in the tiniest decision.  He already knows what you need anyway. You are asking for what He wants in your life. So why wouldn’t He be thrilled to “tell” you?  Secondly, actively seek to know God’s specific answer to your question.  That means: “Do your homework.”  Talk to your spiritual friends that God has placed in your world.  Read the Bible with hungry eyes, believing that He will send you a message.  When something “hits” you, that is the Creator of the Universe speaking directly to you.  But you have to be intensely expecting Him to send you your sign and your signal.  And finally, move.  If you feel even a little sense of peace, step out in faith and act on your decision.  If it is the wrong way to go, you will start to feel panicked and really anxious instead of more peaceful.  Remember, in all the decisions of your life, even in the tiniest of details, God will direct you if you ask and redirect you if you haven’t heard quite right.  But what He will never, ever do is leave you.
