
A Goose Creek man died Monday afternoon in a single-vehicle wreck on Interstate 26.Â
Laurence Kelly Engelhardt Jr., 30, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Berkeley County Coroner Bill Salisbury. The death has been ruled accidental.

The wreck happened at 2:30 p.m., according to the S.C. Highway Patrol. Engelhardt was reportedly heading east just past Jedburg Road when he ran off the side of the road. His truck hit a tree and caught on fire.
