Images Key to Busting Delivery Robbery

Gas station footage may hold answer to unknown suspect.

Goose Creek Police is seeking an unidentified man for questioning in the armed robbery of a woman delivering food Sunday.

The victim was delivering an order phoned in to Lam's Garden at 9:45 Sunday night. When she arrived at Hallmark Apartments off of Red Bank Road, the woman said she was grabbed from the back while a man presented what appeared to be a shotgun, demanding money.

He allegedly took an undisclosed amount of money and the food and then pushed the victim to the ground. She injured her knee, but refused medical treatment, according to police.

The unknown suspect left the apartment complex in a white, 4-door sedan similar to a Ford Crown Victoria.

A number used to phone in the order was traced back to a payphone at The Pantry Kangaroo Gas Station at 1044 Red Bank Road. Officers were able to collect video footage of a man matching the description of the suspect who was using the pay phone.
