Independence at Cane Bay Photo Gallery

With the ongoing heat wave sending the bravest of us into the shade day after day, Independence at Cane Bay found a way to get the crowd back out into the sun: five large water slides.

Hosted by the Church at Cane Bay, the special event also included an arts and crafts tent, bounce houses and a apple pie eating contest. The event's sponsors included Centex, Gramling Brothers, Berkeley Electric Cooperative and Water Missions International.
