Shooting Victim May Have Been Instigator
Sheriff's office: Victim may face assault charges.

An initial report by the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office provides few details on in front of Kamauri's Sports Bar and Grill.
Deputies were called to the shopping center parking lot at 1230 Red Bank Road at 2 a.m. Security guard Monieque Shamod Green, 24, reportedly shot 25-year-old Demar Devon Bacon of Tidewater Drive, according to deputies. Bacon was taken to MUSC. The hospital could not provide any information when contacted by Patch.
According to the incident report, Green accused Bacon of assault, but further details were not made available. Bacon's car was searched and towed.

No charges have been filed against Bacon at this time, but charges could be forth-coming, says Sheriff's spokesman Dan Moon. No charges are currently expected for Green.
