July Fourth in Goose Creek
The busy Lowcountry weekend ends with a bang — actually several of them.

First, lets talk about Monday's main event. The City of Goose Creek’s starts at 6:30 at the Marguerite H. Brown Municipal Center, 519 North Goose Creek Blvd. It is the twenty-second year for this annual event.
The Entertainers will be providing the music. Kids can play in the jump castle or grab some body art at the kiddie tattoo parlor. Food vendors will also be on hand. Fireworks start at 9:30 p..m.
No tailgating in the parking area, and no alcohol, pets, or outside fireworks.
Parking is limited, but the city will be offering free shuttle service to/from the Casey Community Center on Old Moncks Corner Road. The shuttle will run from 6:30-10:30 p.m.
But there’s a lot to do before you even get to the city’s big bash.
Summerville DREAM is hosting the annual celebration tonight at Hutchinson Square. The free event starts at 5 p.m. and includes a patriotic costume contest (with prizes for the Best Uncle Sam and Best Lady Liberty), as well as a parade at 7 p.m.
Cypress Gardens will be hosting its own July Fourth festival on Monday with music, boat rides, and nature walks. The event runs from 10 a.m to 4 p.m.
And don’t forget to take pictures of all the fun you’re having this weekend. .
