Psalm 46:1-4,10
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change, and though the mountains slip into the heart of the sea; though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains quake at its swelling pride. Cease striving and know that I am God.

But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us.
When everything just seems so overwhelming for you that you just don’t want to go on, stop. Remember that God is with you. Keep repeating inside your head, “Cease striving and know that I am God.” God has all your directions already worked out. When you are so anxious about a person, event, or circumstance in your life, that you can’t think about anything else, let go. Let the One who can work miracles and straighten up even the biggest mess, direct you to a path or person that is so much better than you could ever dream of. You will feel better. You will overcome that which overwhelms you. You will not be defeated. And ultimately your life will be beyond all expectation.
