Local Man Arrested in Sex Abuse Case
Suspect allegedly assaulted Garden City girl for years.
Horry County law enforcement has arrested a Goose Creek man in a case of alleged molestation in Garden City.
Chet Rumbley, 32, has been charged with first degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor. Bail has not been set. According to WMBF News, the CSC case was first reported in October 2011.
A complainant reported that her daughter had been molested by a 32-year-old male she described as 'extremely angry, possessive, and scary...who used fear and intimidation to get what he wanted from people.'

The victim's mother said that the behavior had been going on for years but her daughter had not told her about it until recently.
