In January, Marrington Elementary Library held its annual Mother/Daughter Book Club meeting. The book club is open to third, fourth, and fifth girls and their mothers/grandmothers/aunts, etc. The book selection was Everything on a Waffle, an 2002 Newbery Honor winner. The author, Polly Horvath, joined the meeting from her home in British Columbia via Skype to answer participants’ questions about the book and the author.
