Man Arrested on Child Porn Charges
Sheriff's Office charges Summerville resident with 15 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.

Berkeley County deputies arrested a Summerville man Wednesday on charges related to child porn videos allegedly found on his home computer.
Scott Douglas Marriott, 36, has been charged with five counts of second degree sexual exploitation of a minor and 10 counts of third degree sexual exploitation of a minor.
Last month, undercover detectives with the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office allegedly used a file sharing program to download five videos from Marriott's home computer that contained child pornography, according to a release by S.C. Attorney General Alan Wilson.Â

On Oct. 10, deputies seized four computers from Marriott's house, allegedly later finding "numerous files with videos depicting children as young as infants engaged in sexual activity with adults," according to Wilson's release.

Marriott was released from the Hill-Finklea Detention Center on a $75,000 bond. He was ordered to have no contact with children under 17, no access to a cell phone or computer, restricted from schools, malls and playgrounds and he can not closer than one mile to a school.Â
