
A Goose Creek man died Thursday night in a wreck on Montague Plantation Boulevard.
The car driven by Dean Craven, 73, struck a tree in the median on Montague Plantation at 11:15 p.m., according to Berkeley County Chief Deputy Coroner George Oliver.Â
Craven was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The death was ruled accidental and the cause of death was head and chest trauma. Craven was not wearing a seat belt, according to the coroner's office.
The accident was investigated by the Berkeley County Coroner's Office and Goose Creek Police.
