Man Pleads Guilty in 2007 Rape of Goose Creek Teen
DNA evidence in unrelated 2011 case proved key.

A Hollywood man pleaded guilty Wednesday in the 2007 rape of a 13-year-old Goose Creek girl. William Jason Woods, 29, was sentenced to two concurrent 12-year sentences for that case and an unrelated 2011 rape, according to The Post and Courier.
Reporter Allyson Byrd sites court records claiming the young teen sneaked out of her home and met Woods and another man in July 2007. According to authorities, the two men took turns having sex with the girl and then left her on a dirt road in Hollywood.
Investigators were able to use DNA evidence in the second case to match Woods to the rape of the Goose Creek girl.
