WIS TV is reporting on a <a href="http://www.wistv.com/story/20206730/man-discovers-manatee-in-lake-marion" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">manatee found dead</a> earlier this week in Lake Marion. Manatees are an unusual find for the lake, but not unprecedented. The manatee had been seen swimming in recent weeks. DNR officials pulled the body from the water Wednesday and a veterinarian will determine the cause of death before burial.  DNR speculates that the manatee reached the lake through the Pinopolis Dam in Moncks Corner. <a href="http://www.wistv.com/story/20206730/man-discovers-manatee-in-lake-marion" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Read more of the WIS report</a>, including photos from the scene.
