Charleston through a Cuban Artist

"Pieces" Solo Exhibition of Cuban Artist Maribel Acosta is on display at Saul Alexander Gallery of the Charleston County Public Library. The exhibition shows the vision of the artist in every place that she has passed, and in every city where she lived, whose journey ends in Charleston, the place that most captivated her and reminds her of her native Havana. Her works are made in the technique of acrylic on canvas, which adds elements of linocut, xylography and textures in pastel chalk and oil pastels. Her characters are travelers who discover places, elements, landscapes and feelings.
The exhibition will remain open until February 27 at Saul Alexander Gallery,
