Marrington Elementary School 5th Graders Become Naturalists At Barrier island Eco Tours
Marrington Elementary 5th graders became Naturalists when they visited Barrier Island Eco Tours and took an excursion to Caper’s Island. Students used their knowledge of ecosystems and applied it to our rich Lowcountry estuaries and barrier islands with hands-on experiences. With the help of their friends at Barrier Island Eco Tour, Courtney Hutson and Robert Hopkins, MNE 5th graders understand the diversity of our local salt marshes and their study of ecosystems really came to life.
