Marrington Elementary School’s theme for the 2013-2014 school year is “Boosting Learners, Building Leaders.” In order to support this theme, the School Librarian, Mrs. Melissa Simmons implemented the “Readers Are Leaders Bingo Program.” As part of this program, students who read a certain number of books were allowed to select a special prize. Madison Bartra is Kindergarten student. As her prize she selected to sing with School Counselor Ann Schuler on Marrington Morning TV News Show. Madison chose to sing “The Golden Rule Song,” which Mrs. Schuler had written and taught to her class!
