Marrington Students Walk To School As “Rain Drops Keep Falling On Their Heads”

Marrington Students Walk To School As “Rain Drops Keep Falling On Their Heads”

A little rain wasn’t going to keep the students of Marrington Elementary away! On Wednesday, March 3th, Marrington celebrated South Carolina “Walk to School Day.” Mrs. Webber, Principal, Mrs. Davakos, School Instructional Coach, and Coach Beckman, PE Teacher met the students at various stops along the way.  Each participant received a pencil and a sticker.  The children were also encouraged to use the sidewalk and cross the street at the crosswalk.  There were well over 200 children that walked to school for this event.  Marrington Elementary School is located on Joint Base Charleston, in Goose Creek.
