Ms Lauren Reeder, Marrington Elementary School’s Teacher of the Year, was recently named Berkeley County School District’s 2014 Teacher of the Year! The exciting news was announced at an annual breakfast which was held in honor of all 41 school-level winners and hosted by the Berkeley Chamber of Commerce, Santee Cooper and Trident Technical College. On her first day back to school, Ms. Reeder received a celebrity/hero’s welcome at MNE from her students and colleagues. A red carpet, tiara, boa, and joyous students made her entrance into school a magical moment for all!
Ms. Reeder has been an educator for six years and currently teaches second grade.
