Marrington’s Sensational School Improvement Council Is In The House!

Marrington Elementary School Improvement Council, led by school Principal Barb Webber, held their second meeting of the school year.  Throughout the school year, the School Improvement Council works with the school principal in planning, reviewing, and evaluating school programs.  Input from members was sought in developing strategic and school renewal plans. The most up-to-date information and data on school programs is shared each month.  Marrington Elementary has received Palmetto Gold or Silver awards for the past 9 consecutive school years.  Additionally MNE received an A+ rating from the state report card the past 2 years.  The collaborative effort of the administration, faculty, staff, PTO, School Improvement Council, parents, and the community assures that Marrington will continue to challenge and empower their students to be successful in a highly competitive world.  The Marrington Elementary community continually strives to “Boost Learners and Build Leaders“ and create a caring,  successful environment for all their students.
