Meth Charges in Two Berkeley County Arrests

Tip leads to drugs and components of a meth lab.

The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office has arrested two suspects on drug charges, the latest in a string of arrests by the Drug Enforcement Unit.

An anonymous tip led law enforcement to 1089 Heaven Drive in St. Stephen. A search revealed a small amount of methamphetamine and marijuana, according to BCSO spokesman Dan Moon, along with several components of a meth lab.

Tonia Crane, 35, and Curtis Rogers, 36 have been charged with manufacturing meth and possession with intent to distribute meth. Because there were children in the home, they've also been charged with exposing a child to meth.

The suspects are being held at the Hill-Finklea Detention Center awaiting bond hearings, according to Moon.

Last week, the Drug Enforcement Unit announced six arrests on meth charges in two separate cases in the Goose Creek and Ladson area.
