Missing Woman's Boyfriend Wanted for Alleged Assault
August incident was one reason for mother filing missing person report.

The mother of a missing Goose Creek woman told police she was worried about her daughter's mental state and believed she may be with a man wanted by Summerville Police.
Shannon Caruso, 29, was reported missing by her mother, Diane Caruso, on Aug. 19. Shannon Caruso hasn't been seen since Aug. 17.
Responding to press inquiries on Friday, Goose Creek Police Department spokesman Capt. John Grainger said i. They are trying to determine the origins of a call they believe Shannon Caruso made to her father. Grainger said there is currently no evidence of foul play in the case.

When Diane Caruso first reported her daughter missing, she told police that Shannon Caruso hadn't been seen since noon Aug. 17. She noted that Shannon Caruso has a small daughter and it was odd for her not to check in on the little girl.

Diane Caruso claimed her daughter wasn't mentally stable and that she may be with Kenon Stevens. Stevens is wanted on charges of criminal domestic violence high and aggravated nature and kidnapping for an alleged attack on Shannon Caruso in early August, according to a recent WCSC Live 5 News report.
