A motorcyclist was seriously injured Thursday morning in a wreck on St. James Avenue. Stephen Flowers, 58, of Moncks Corner, was transported to MUSC. According to police, an initial investigation suggests Flowers was heading west on St. James Avenue around 9:50 a.m. when a car pulled out in front of him at the . The motorcycle collided with the driver's side of the car. Police note that Flowers was wearing a helmet at the time. The driver of the car, Alexandria Poplin, 21, of Goose Creek, was wearing her seatblet and uninjured.
