Joe Brown told the Spartanburg Herald-Journal's Palmetto Sports blog that at least he is still in talks with other schools, including The University of South Carolina.
“It depends on where South Carolina is as to whether I try to shake up Chris’ mind or accept his decision,” Joe Brown said.

Joe Brown clarified Thursday that he may be looking at USC, but his son is still on board with Notre Dame.
"To me, Chris is committed to Notre Dame and he'll have to choose to go someplace else," Joe Brown said Thursday night via cell phone. "It's his 100-percent decision. He's at the point."

Second thoughts are nothing new this season. Goose Creek junior Tramel Terry with his plans to tour a few in-state schools after committing to the Georgia Bulldogs this summer.
USC coach Steve Spurrier talked about the school's success in attracting South Carolina's top talent in an article with the Atlanta Journal-Constitution last month.
“If they can stay in-state and achieve their college dreams of playing for championships, graduating and hopefully going to the NFL, they can do it right here at home. Football is still about local recruiting.”
