Officers were called out to Oaks Estates subdivision around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday night regarding five to six gunshots heard by residents. No damage was found to the surrounding homes. Officers investigating the scene did find 11 bullet casings near the intersection of Blaines Way and Goose Creek Drive. Police say the casings appear to have been fired from an AK-47 or similar weapon. As police were processing the scene, they reported hearing 10-15 additional shots not far away on Robert Road.  Residents on Robert Road told officers that a car a car turned onto the road while speeding toward Red Bank Road when someone in the car started firing a weapon. No one could provide a description of the car or the suspects.
