Navy Wives Find Support in Compass

"It's great to have these women here as a support group."

ABC News 4's Natalie Caula visited the latest meeting of Compass, a local support program for Navy spouses.

"I love my husband and I love being a supportive wife, but there are times where we want to break down and we want to be sad and its great to have these women here as a support group," said Celeste Winters.

The next three-day class is scheduled for July 17-19. Navy spouses can register at the website. 

Compass is also looking for volunteers to help with the program, including mentors, food angels and administrative help.

Mentors have to be Navy spouses of at least three years and have been through a deployment. They'll also go through a Compass class and mentor training.
