Obituary: Doreen Banks

Doreen M. Banks, 80, of Goose Creek, passed away August 30, 2012.

Born in London, England, she was the daughter of the late Samuel James and Maude Ridley Green. She met her husband, George Banks in England and they were later married. Mrs. Banks lived all over the world, moving to Goose Creek from Hawaii. She enjoyed working in her yard and listening to her mystery audio books. Doreen was predeceased by her husband, George and also her beloved dog, Max.

She is survived by two daughters, Tracy Powell and husband Ken of Goose Creek and Hayley Hill and husband Rick, Coalinga, CA; two sons, Michael Lee Banks and wife Stephanie of Williams, AZ and Jake Banks and girlfriend Nancy of Williams, AZ, sister, Shirley Graham of England. Mrs. Banks is also survived by her ten grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date in the mountains.
