
Julia C. Wolfert, 82, of Moncks Corner, passed away Oct. 31, 2012.
Born in Decatur, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Jeff Davis and Ursie Lee Smith Thomas and widow to James Wolfert.
Mrs. Wolfert was a homemaker and loved to cook and crochet. She was known as the rock of her family for always being able to bring family together for reunions.Â
Mrs. Wolfert is survived by her three sons, Joshua Herndon and wife Nancy of Dexter, Maine, David Herndon and wife Carol of Moncks Corner and Leon Herndon of Ladson; two daughters, Virginia H. Delaney and husband Harold of Middleburg, Fla., and Betty H. Bender and husband Jeffrey of Sumter. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Julia was predeceased by a daughter, Ursie Lee Herndon.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date in the mountains of Georgia.
