Obituary: Louise Brookshire

Louise B. Brookshire, 83, of Goose Creek, formerly of Rock Hill, died November 26, 2012, at her residence. Born August 2, 1929, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Leroy Brown and Rozine Bice Brown. 

She was a devoted wife and mother to her family. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin O. Brookshire I, one grandchild and two great-grandchildren. 

She is survived by daughter, Brenda Jenkins and her husband, Vernon, of Easley, daughter, Katherine Olson and her husband, David, of Goose Creek, son, Franklin O. Brookshire II and his wife, Beverly, of Easely, daughter, Janet Starnes and her husband, Wayne, of Rock Hill, daughter, Tammy Boan and her husband, Terry, of Rock Hill; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. 

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012 at 11 a.m. at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, 869 St. James Ave., Goose Creek, SC. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Louise’s honor to Agape Hospice, 9301 Medical Plaza Dr., Charleston, SC 29406.
