Patricia Ann Mayberry, 70 of Goose Creek, passed away Oct. 7, 2012. Born in Derby, England, she was the daughter of the late Sidney and Hetty Wing Walker. She worked as a circulation manager with the Smyth County News and Messenger for many before her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Carter and son-in-law Stephen of Goose Creek; two grandchildren, Sidney Alexander Carter and Alison Leann Carter of Goose Creek; former husband, Jim Mayberry of Creston, N.C. Mrs. Mayberry is also survived by many friends and extended family members in England. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Goose Creek Group, C/O Joseph Wheatly, 108 Cuthbert Road, Goose Creek, SC 29445
