Ladson Teen Dead After Boat Capsizes on Lake Moultrie

One person is dead after a boat capsized on Lake Moultrie on Sunday.

The victim has been identified as Robert Northen Daniels, 19, of Ladson. Berkeley County Coroner Bill Salisbury notes that Tuesday would have been his birthday. The death has been ruled as accidental drowning.

Five others were rescued after the pontoon boat was turned over by violent early-afternoon storms.
