The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting at a Cross nightclub early Sunday morning. The Berkeley County Coroner's Office has identified the victim as Kiron Jenkins, 30, of 347 Macs Landing Road, Pineville. Deputies responded to The Zone on County Line Road in Cross at 3:30 a.m. in reference to a shooting.  Jenkins was in an altercation with an unknown suspect prior to the shooting, according to Berkeley Sheriff's Office spokesman Dan Moon. The death is being investigated as a homicide, but there is no suspect description, according to Moon. Anyone with information regarding the case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 843-554-1111 or the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office at 843-719-4412.
