Otranto Homicide: Video Shows Individual Exiting Stolen Truck

Plus, another man currently in jail, arrested prior to the victim's death for writing bad checks on his account.

State agents are finished processing the truck believed to have been stolen from the home of an Otranto man found dead Sunday. Hanahan Police officials are hopeful there will be evidence to answer questions in the homicide investigation.

The surprising find Tuesday in the Walmart parking lot in Goose Creek may have already provided important clues in tracking down people with information in the case.

Since the body of Roy Ray Bennett was found by a neighbor Sunday afternoon, police had been anxious to locate the truck, particularly after a neighbor reported seeing two individuals around the truck before Bennett's body was found.

An ABC News 4 report Tuesday noted another bizarre aspect to the case. The victim's bank account had been compromised in the weeks leading up to his death.

Harry Shane Dupree, 39, of Mazyck Road, North Charleston, was arrested prior to Bennett's death and is still being held in Charleston County on charges of forgery.

The Navy Federal Credit Union contacted police regarding more than $10,000 in checks with signatures that didn't match Bennett's.
