Parents, Eight Missing Children Found in Pa.
S.C. law enforcement alerted last week that they may be in Lowcountry.
The Associated Press is reporting that the eight siblings taken from a foster care facility in New York last week have been found in Pennsylvania and their parents have been taken into custody.
New York police believe Shanel Nadal, 28, and John Nephra Payne, 34, took her children after a visit at the Queens facility Sept. 19. The seven boys and one girl are all under 11. The couple lost custody of the children in 2009.
The S.C. Law Enforcement Division that both Nadal and Payne had ties to the Lowcountry and requested any information if the family was spotted in the area.
