"We were so excited for Goose Creek High School to go to State," writes Yuki Ishibahshi. "For my son Masamitsu Ishibashi to win state again, and for my daughter to be on that field with the band and her own brother. Online petitions have been prevalent in the news this week after activists in more than 20 states created petitions on the White House website in support of particular states seceding from the U.S. in the wake of the Nov. 6 elections.
