The Goose Creek Police Department has released new details, as well as a photo, of the suspect in of the Advance America Cash Advance on St. James Avenue.

The incident occurred just after 3 p.m., according to police. The store manager said the man walked up to the counter and stated three times that he needed a loan before allegedly pulling out a handgun and pointing it at the woman.

She told police she handed him everything in the register, a little more than $125. The suspect told her to go to the back of the store and he fled the scene on foot.

The photo of the man shows a road crew vest, as well as a painter's mask.

The suspect was last seen running toward U.S. 52. A department K-9 pursued the suspect's scent, but lost track of him after a short distance, according to police.
