Police: Have You Seen This Ball Cap?

Law enforcement hoping hat helps ID armed robbery suspect.

Goose Creek Police Department has released another photo of the suspect in , hoping that his hat might look familiar.

The suspect walked into the Advance America Cash Advance on St. James Avenue just after 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 4. He was dressed in a road crew vest and wearing a painter's mask.

According to the manager, the suspect asked for a loan three times before allegedly pulling out a handgun and pointing it at the woman. He allegedly took everything in the till, approximately $125, before telling the woman to go to the back of the store.

Officer say he fled out the front, towards U.S. 52. A brief pursuit of his scent by a K-9 unit was unsuccessful. Police also last week.

The man's cap is identified as a souvenir from the St. Mary's County Oyster Festival in Maryland.
