Police Investigate ATM Armed Robbery Attempt
Case similar to nearby University Boulevard incident.

A woman reported an attempted armed robbery at a Goose Creek ATM on Monday night, two weeks after a similar incident on University Boulevard.
Near 10 p.m. Monday night, the woman told police that she was at the machine at the South Carolina Federal Credit Union on Bridgetown Road when a man in a black hood and dark jeans approached the ATM on foot and said, "Give me the money."
She told police that she canceled her transaction and drove away. The man walked after her car, but soon turned back to the parking lot.

The victim told police that he pulled up to the ATM to make a withdraw when the man, described as a black male with a hood pulled down over his eyes, allegedly held a silver handgun and demanded the money.
According to police, the suspect stepped back and that's when the victim drove off.
